Welcome stranger!Here you can find everything and nothing about Duo W, at least when we get more stuff for you to experience, but hold on, it's all coming out soon! Duo W was founded in 2009 by Miikka "Midi" Hakomäki and Kalle "Kalle" Vainio. These boys have known each other since they were seven years old. So Duo W was based on a long-term friendship. Boys have been also studying music, in University Sibelius Academy to be exact. You could say that they know what they're talking about, but the education isn't relevant to these boys. The basic idea was that you could make music with laid-back attitude without making it shallow. Few words about music of Duo WYou can't put it in any genre, it would just be wrong. It has lot’s of different ingredients. To name a few: Handful of pop, a pinch of progressive rock, a table spoon of classical music and a hell of lot of attitude. Music is just one big pile of different ingredients. If you know how to use them, you can make anything you want. In theory anyway... We tried it out and you can have a taste of the results in our new Compact Disc product! " W is a state of mind.
